Our class made predictions about what would happen to a variety of materials (paper, tea bag, apple core, carton, crisp bag, bread) planted in moist soil in a bucket and placed in a warm location, covered with cling film. After week 1 we checked on any changes to the materials and recorded them. At the end of week 2 we made our conclusions about which materials rotted/ did not rot. Most of our predictions were correct!
