Virtual Assembly!

6^th Class were very excited to be the first class in St George’s NS to perform their assembly virtually! Assembly was streamed live to all the other classes in the school.

Pupils practiced all week in the lead up to the assembly and thankfully everything went to plan. 6^th Class welcomed everyone back to school and spoke about some of the challenges we may be facing at the moment. During challenging times it is important to remember to focus on the things we can control. We cannot control the behaviour of others. We can only focus on how we behaviour ourselves.

We can all make a difference and we all have strengths that we can draw on in times of challenge. 6^th Class used the story of The Hare and the Tortoise to get their points across. They also drew some beautiful pictures to accompany their assembly.
