This week we completed our Valentine’s clay art.
We had a great time rolling clay into snake like shapes and then rolling the snakes into coils. We carefully arranged the coils to make a heart shape.
Next, we blended the clay together- this made sure that the coils all stick together.
Then we left them to dry and when we returned we flipped the hearts to reveal the decoration on the other side.
The final step was to paint the clay and also to add a ribbon to the top to allow it to hang up.
