Sunflowers Splendour
24th May 2024
Our Sunflowers that were left in the classroom after most of the students brought theirs home, are really coming along well . Hopefully parents were able to help by putting them into a bigger pot to allow maximum growth. It's so rewarding watching them grow taller with each passing day. Brody and a few others have been a great help watering them. Elizabeth is a true botanist with taking charge replanting them in bigger pots and reinforcing them with sticks. Eventually we are hoping to plant them outdoors in the school garden. We've been learning to identify some common flowers and butterflies and enjoyed painting sunflowers over the past week or two.
