This week our class had a fantastic time making straw rockets based on Nasa's JPL design. Each day a group of children made their rockets and on Friday we had a rocket launching test to see which rocket could travel the furthest. We tried out our rockets in the yard, but the wind was too strong for them. We went in to the hall and everyone had two attempts at their launch. The longest distance was a massive 5.5 metres!
