Space Week 2022

We all really enjoyed Space Week and learned so much about the universe! We started the week off by learning about the planets of our solar system. We learned their names, their order and some interesting facts about each planet. Next, we read a story about the planets and learned a new song. Later in the week we looked at pictures of the first person in space, Yuri Gargarian, and finally we learned about Apollo 11 and the moon landings. First Class showed great interest and curiosity in the topic and Samuel was able to tell us all that Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman in space - well done Samuel! We finished Space Week by making and launching our very own rockets.
