First Class really enjoyed experimenting with simple household items like milk, vinegar, baking soda, food colouring, oil and soap. We showed how the reaction between vinegar (acid) and baking soda (base) produces the gas CO2. How milk molecules do not like soap molecules and how oil and water do not mix.
