This week we had great fun trying out different scientific experiments . From biology , chemistry and physics we discovered some incredible scientific theories. We also watched a number of videos demonstrating cool experiments.
In class we tested part of the theory of the water cycle and tried out " Storm in a Glass ". We experimented with different amounts of shaving foam and water to see would it influence the strength of our storm.
We had tons of fun making our own lava lamps using water, oil, food colouring, effervescent tablets and a torch. The colours in our lamps also changed colour once we shone the light on them. They looked very pretty but the highlight was definitely when we added the tablets and watched as they produced the gas ,carbon dioxide and the bubbly blobs began to appear.
Science week was a Blast!
