Skittles Experiment
In groups, the children investigated and recorded the effect of warm water mixed with skittles sweets and how the outer shell of the sweets dissolved into a beautiful rainbow of colours!
Pasta Tower Challenge
In pairs, the children used pasta and mini marshmallows to create the tallest, widest and strongest tower. The winners of the challenge were Peter, Miruna, Raymond and Covenant. Well done to everyone for their efforts!
Lava Lamp Experiment
In groups, the children created their own lava lamps. They used water, vegetable oil, food colouring, tall glasses and alka seltzer tablets. They investigated the effect of mixing oil and water. Also they recorded the results of putting the alka seltzer tablet into the mixture of oil and water. They were all brilliant scientists during the week!
