SARI (Sports Against Racism Ireland)
We had a visit from SARI today. So many topics were covered and we learnt a lot from this session. We got into a straight line to play a fun game - only a few made it to the end! There was a meaning to this game - it taught us about prejudice and assumptions. Another great game was ‘Football Three.’ This game is used in FIFA to teach about equality and respecting each other. Each group decides on three rules and everyone is their own referee!
We were given a ball of positivity to take back to class. Only positive words can be written on this ball. We also got a wristband each to keep.
Overall, it was great fun and we hope to get another visit from SARI soon! Take a look at photos of our morning.
