Be Safe, Be Seen!
As part of Social, Personal and Health Education we learned all about being safe. We learned about keeping safe in a variety of familiar situations. One of the discussions we had was about road safety. We looked at safe places to go for a walk, we discussed crossing roads carefully and we looked at some road signs. Then, it was time to check our knowledge by going on a safety walk around the school grounds.
We received high visibility jackets from the Road Safety Authority. These were perfect for our safety walk as the jackets are a great fit for over our coats on dark winter days.
