We have really enjoyed learning all about the topic of weather and climate. We explored some superstitions and weather lore. We learned about the different climate types around the world. We also looked at seasonal changes in Ireland's weather. Mr Hanlon helped us to make a Rain Gauge for our class so that we could measure the rainfall in Balbriggan. It was dry at first, but we were lucky to have some rainfall at the end of the week. We measured the amount of rain in centimetres using the ruler we had attached to the gauge.
