Our January Art focus was Pointillism. We learned about Georges Seurat and how he became the father of Pointillism. We looked at some famous works by him and some other works inspired by him. We then experimented creating some Pointillist pieces of our own. We used cotton buds to paint in small dots similar to how he would have done. Then the next week we used small dot stickers to created our artworks. As the art is made up of tiny dots they took ages to complete but Ms Dunne said it was worth it due to the lovely pieces we created.
