We had a great day today at the zoo. We all enjoyed our morning activity the Rainforest Rangers tour. We learned lots about the Amazon Rainforest and all of the animals that live there.
We were lucky to have our picnic in a sheltered picnic area and we didn’t get too wet in the rain shower that arrived.
After our picnic we enjoyed walking around the zoo and watching all the animals. The only animal we couldn’t spot was the hippo! Perhaps he was sleeping or resting.
