We had a virtual workshop in our classroom recently. This was a novel and fun experience for the students and it highlighted elements of both the Arts and English strands of the curriculum. One of the leaders spoke to the class with enthusiasm to share information about their museum, encourage creativity and imagination and give the children the opportunity to have a shared cultural experience. We had several individual tasks to complete. For example, we had to think of our favourite character, draw/write about different places we would go to on a Saturday, then think about how that character would fit into our day. We all came up with our own unique creations and stories!
