This year during Maths Week we decided to combine Science and Maths. They were given rulers and 20 cubes and asked to design a bridge which could support the most amount of school copies. The design was up to the children and they performed very well. We expanded it to include anything they could find in the classroom to create their bridges. They had a lot of fun and the winner was able to support 5 school copies so well done to all.
