Maths 3D Shapes
25th Jan 2023
This week in Maths we got to look at some new 3d Shapes. The main ones we investigated were pyramids and prisms. Each pyramid is named after the shape of its base. Prisms are 3D shapes that can be cut into identical pieces. We spent time counting the faces , vertices and edges of these shapes. We also had fun unfolding them to discover their nets.
Our favourite shape was the "Triangular Prism" which is better known as a "Toblerone"!!
