Making parachutes :)
This week in our Science lesson we did an investigation to see which material would be the most suitable to make a parachute. Our variable for this experiment was the different materials which we used to make the parachute. The materials we used were tissue paper, plastic bags, crepe paper, printing paper and cloth. We ensured that our experiment was a fair test by using the same amount of each material, having the same weight on the end of each string and also by dropping the parachutes from the same height. We really enjoyed doing this investigation and it was interesting to compare our predictions of which materials we thought would be the best to the actual results.
