One of our focus topics for maths this month was lines and angles. The class learned to describe line directions as vertical, horizontal and diagonal. Everyone had lots of fun making parallel and perpendicular lines using the geoboards. They also practised creating acute, obtuse and right angles. The children worked in pairs to go on a Maths Hunt in the yard. They really enjoyed capturing photos of different lines and angles on the iPads and presenting their findings to the children at their table.
