Our first Aistear theme for learning through play was Houses and Homes. We listened to the story of The Three Little Pigs and used playdough to make the houses and characters. We had dramatic play in the kitchen and home corner. We worked together to use blocks to build different types of houses. We also did some art activities about our own homes and our families. A big favourite this month was playing with the doll's house and sorting the furniture into the correct rooms.
