Homework
Dear Parents, guardians and school community.
Well done to everyone who has made the return to school smooth considering the restrictions we have all had to facilitate! Together we are working to make the school as safe as possible.
We have decided that when homework begins next week that we will not be giving the pupils written homework but spellings, tables and reading. Please ensure the pupils do these as they are important!
We remind you that we have staggered arrival and departure times for classes. Senior infants -2nd arrive for 9am and leave at 1.40pm (senior infants) and 2.40pm (1st and 2nd). 3rd-6th arrive for 9.10am and leave at 2.50pm. As much as possible please adhere to these times.
If you need to speak to the class teacher urgently we are encouraging telephonic meetings. You arrange via the secretary of the school (secretary liaises with the teacher) to get a call from the class teacher for issues that cannot be addressed via a note in homework journal.
