Gardening
We have all become keen gardeners in 4th class thanks to Ms Murray. She has been helping us all to plant a variety of bulbs in the school garden since early Autumn and we hope to see our garden in full bloom come springtime.
Tulips, daffodils and crocuses are just a selection of the flowers we have planted. The hardest work may be done e.g. the digging and partitioning but we still have to attend to a number of jobs in the garden such as watering the bulbs, keeping the soil fertilised and measuring heights.
We are really enjoying this project and are learning a lot as we apply our mathematical and scientific skills to complete tasks such as tracking progress, completing graphs, designing maps, observing aerial views and taking notes of dates and measurements on calendars.
We look forward to updating you all in the coming months.
