This week in our English lesson, we added some fun to our learning by playing a game with flashcards while tackling tricky words! The children had a blast as they worked together to recognize, read, and spell words that have been a bit challenging.
The game wasn’t just about learning; it helped develop important skills:
- Reading fluency – recognizing words quickly and confidently.
- Memory – recalling tricky words from earlier lessons.
- Teamwork – cheering each other on and helping each other succeed.
- Confidence – building the courage to say tricky words out loud.
The energy in the classroom was fantastic as the children eagerly took turns with the flashcards, laughing and celebrating each victory. It was wonderful to see their excitement as they conquered those tricky words one by one.
