European School Sports Day
We have had a week full of sports. On Monday and Tuesday we took part in a SARI (Sports Against Racism Ireland) workshop. We played games that though us about the importance of recognising racism and standing up against it. We were given a gift of a "positivity ball" for our classroom. We all wrote positive comments on the ball and we will keep it in our classroom to read if we ever feel down.
On Friday we celebrated European School Sports Day. We got to spend the morning doing a fun sports session with Ms Kearns and Ms Trainor's 6th classes. It was great to all get our together for a big sports session. We played football and basketball. Then in the afternoon Ms Needham sent us up the table tennis kit to use in our classroom. It was a really fun day and we can't wait for the next one!
