In November we learned all about people who help us in the community. We loved learning about where each person works. We focused on how doctors help us and got to play games to learn the words for the things in a doctor's bag. We practised naming our body parts and learned about taking care of ourselves. Our favourite activity was pretend play in our very own 'Doctor's Surgery'. We took turns to be the doctor or the patient. We worked at the reception desk and practised making phone calls to make appointments. We learned to wait our turn by sitting in our waiting room area.
