Daffodil Day was Friday the 24th of March. Ms. Murray and the children had been working very hard in the garden in order to have their daffodils ready to sell on the day. They started planting their daffodil bulbs in January and spent all Spring attending to them. They did regular checks to monitor their growth progress and were delighted to finally get to pick them. They were grouped into bunches of three and sold for one Euro each . Ms. Murray was very pleased with all the volunteers from the class who helped her sell them at the school gate on Friday .All donations collected were going towards Cancer Research- a very worthy cause. Final count of all money collected is still in progress. We would like to say a big thank you to Ms. Murray on all her hard work and dedication to this cause.
