Coding as Gaeilge
We have been learn to code recently using the Pyonkee app on the iPads. Pyonkee is based on Scratch, which is a visual programming language created by the MIT Media Lab in 2007. Its drag-and-drop interface with colourful blocks makes it one of the most intuitive programming languages to learn.
We decided to use our newly acquired coding skills to make Irish more fun! We read the story of An Feighlí Leanaí in our Abair Liom books and then made animations retelling story using Scratch!
