We were one of the lucky classes to be chosen to receive training with a hockey coach. His name is Kamo and he will be helping us to learn all the skills needed to play hockey. We were all very excited about this as we had just started hockey during our PE classes. He taught us the correct hand placement when using a hockey stick and how to turn the stick to move the ball from side to side.
We loved playing the games “Red Light, Green Light” and “Sea Shipwreck” which helped us practice these new skills. WE look forward to playing hockey with Kamo over the next few Fridays.
