During Seachtain na Gaeilge, 6th class explored the wealth of culture, traditions and folklore of our Irish Traveller population here in Ireland. We learnt about the traveller artist Gabi Jimenez who is influenced by Picasso, and we designed painted caravan pictures similar to his. We also made colourful crepe paper flowers, a tradition in the traveller community.
