This month we have been learning all about France. We have really enjoyed learning about France and we would like to share some interesting facts with you..The capital of France is Paris, but did you know that was originally named “Lutetia”. Have you ever wondered how the Eiffel Tower got it’s name? It got it’s name from the person who made it, he was called “Gustave Eiffel”.The Eiffel Tower is 324 meters (1063 feet) high. We all completed group projects with all the new fascinating facts we had learned about France. We completed some art work making the Eiffel Tower out of matchsticks and putting our own twist on the famous Mona Lisa painting. We even got to taste some delicious chocolate croissants which had been imported from France and they were yummy!
