This week we learned that the world is full of ‘algorithms’. An algorithm is a precise set of instructions that you follow to solve a problem or complete a task.
We write instructions for making a jam sandwich. Our friends then followed our instructions to make the jam sandwich. We realised how details instructions need to be in order for them to be successful.
Next week is ‘Coding Week’. We will be looking at how digital devices use algorithms in order for them to work… we will also complete some of our own coding in class. 🤖
